We have an opening for a full time IA Mechanic and or an AP Mechanic. Duffy’s Aircraft has been in aviation for since 1973. We have a fleet of 15 aircraft that we rent / lease to students and pilots. These aircraft consist mostly of single engine Cessnas and Pipers aircraft. We also have many customer airplanes that come in for annual inspections and regular maintenance. Some of these aircraft are piston twin engine aircraft. Duffy's Aircraft also provides services to transient aircraft. If you have any experience with fabric and wood aircraft, that is a plus but not necessary. We do have a grass strip and tail wheel aircraft are based on the airport.
The IA Mechanic / AP Mechanic position will include but not be limited to:
Maintaining company and customer aircraft in an airworthy manner.
Conducting general maintenance,
100 hour inspections and general maintenance,
The person will responsible for ordering and maintaining stock parts,
Creating the work order for accounting to create an invoice from to bill customers.
Maintaining a safe work environment
The position has a mandatory requirement of pre-employment and random drug testing to maintain this position.
Requirements:
- Federal Aviation Administration IA Airframe & Powerplant License or an FAA AP License,
- Hardworking,
- Self Motivated,
- Able to work with others (mechanics, airport staff, customers, etc.) but also able to work independently
- Have good organizational skills
- Be able to utilize a computer for research, parts, etc.
- Must be willing to live in Marshfield, WI area,
- High School Diploma
Salary:
- This is a full time position.
- Starting Pay is $25 per hr but may be more based on experience.
- Flexible time off
- We can certainly provide 40 hrs a week.
